Ciao my Loves,

We all want to feel- what if we’ve known the secret all along? Your body and mind are connected. The environment, the food we eat, and the exercise we do all affects them. I Officially started my journey in May after the semester had ended.

Learning:

Reading became a big part of my life. I read about the power of the mind which helped change my attitude. Throughout my lifetime I had always descried myself as a kind and grateful person, however, as my learning progressed I realized I had only been an average person. Gandhi, Albert Einstein, the Dalia Lama more wonderful mentors/teachers (alongside the teachings of my faith) showing others how they embraced the life of kindness and gratitude.

We do not know everything that is why it important to keep learning everyday. Someone once told me that parents already knew everything about nutrition. As I educated myself on nutrition I also shared my growing knowledge with my parents. Over time they too begun making small changes to the way they eat.

Books:

*Gandhi on Non-Violence

*Quantum Wellness

Fitness:

After school had ended, my mom had found a Martial Arts Studio in a city near by. We gave it a try and fell in love with Areo-Tae-bo. My sister and I wanted to break the boring summer routine we had for the past few years, where we stayed in the house doing nothing. We been going 5-4 times a week this summer, I now have more discipline and strength- two key skills to help me to  achieve my dreams.

 Conscious Eating:

Conscious eating is thinking about how the food you are putting in your body affects you.

After reading Quantum Wellness I made the decision to become Vegan. I started watching documentaries on eating well and my mindset changed.  My first weekend was a bit tough due to the circumstances, I was traveling with my Uncle and Cousins to a farming town close LA. I was more Vegetarian then vegan at that point. During that time my sister became my partner in this new lifestyle. We both started to learn new recipes. We had a few emotional moments because our relationship with food was changing. My parents support our decision; as a gift they bought us a NutriBullet to have delicious smoothies throughout the day.

When changing lifestyles (I learned in Quantum Wellness) you can ease into the knew lifestyle little by little. It is much more effective than switching cold turkey. Simply start with a green juice or smoothie in the morning. The more you educate yourself about nutrition the more your mindset will change.

My journey to wellness will take a lifetime. I learn more and more everyday.

*Remember to listen to your body.

*Educate others but don’t force them to follow your path. They may simple not be ready yet.

*Eat more Whole foods.

*Find a fitness that works for you.

If you include these in your lifestyle you will start to feel amazing in result you will glow from the inside out.

How are you including Learning. Fitness, Food into your lifestyle? Let me know in the comments below!

You have to feel good to look good.

Ciao my Loves,

There once was a Rabbit who loved time. To her, live was simple, there was plenty of time to do everything. She used to be a silly little Rabbit running around town like crazy yelling “I ‘m late, I have no time. I ‘m late! I’m late! I’m late!” Rabbit soon learned that way of life never let her enjoy the moment. When she was with family, her mind was cluttered with work that needed to be done. When she was working she thought of spending time with her family. Her mind was always traveling. Then she learned about the magic of time. Life was about enjoying the present, but of course there is always time to day dream. Rabbit had plenty of time to do everything. She never regretted a moment of it, because every minute was precious.

We often take time for granted. Are minds are always traveling. Remember time is precious, we can never get it back once it passes. Enjoy the moment.

What helps me out:

*I always arrive early to my destination, it gives me time to relax and collect my thoughts.

*I write down a list of things that I want to accomplish that day.

*I make sure I give myself a break when I work.

*When I am with my family or friends, I stay in the moment. They are giving me their precious time, I should be grateful for spending it with them.

How do you time your time? Let me know in the comments below!

Remember you have to feel good to look good!

Ciao my Loves,

There nothing better than spending the day in the great out doors. Every once in a while it is good to leave the city and go to a place in touch with nature. Take a deep breathe, feel the gentle breeze and relax. There is no honking, no crowded streets, and no loud noises, take one moment to enjoy a different world.

Going out to the ranch was the perfect excuse to wear my new hat and dress like a rancher. I love the designs used in Rancher wear especially from Mexico and Argentina. I wore my Zara light pink blouse and tied a polk dotted head scarf around my collar. I grew up with family members in Mexico who were Charros and Escaramusas. One thing I notice they were always well dresses head to toes. Hair pulled back for the women and nicely comb for the Men. Tuck in your blouse, and wear a belt, now your starting to look like a Rancher. You can never go wrong with boots, I wore my high heels ankle boots. I suggest sticking to boots without heels, because I didn’t notice until I got home how tried I was!

*Take a deep Breathe.

*Experience a different world.

*Enjoy the beautiful Sunset.

Life is not only in the city, go out and experience nature.

What is you favorite thing about being in the great out doors?

Remember You have to feel good to look good!
